Completely agree and think this is a key moment for organizers to dig in. But i think your key point is TOO right (sadly) in that bc the issue is over localized it is therefore electoralized for Mayors, City Council, and even State Reps, Governors...but not for Congress
basically i agree with you and bear responsibility for some of this and want to work to get our movement in NY to orient more nationally!
